Virtual Electronic Heritage System

The purpose of VEPS system is to digitize and publish in portal www.epaveldas.lt various valuable objects of the cultural heritage. The system is designed to store and operate a huge quantity of digital objects and is highly scalable. The VEPS portal provides efficient and convenient access to many of cultural heritage digitalized objects for all who are interested in art works, old books, magazines, manuscripts, maps, metrics, chronicles and sound recordings. All this together creates a unique, rich and vivid panorama of the Lithuanian cultural heritage.
